For all of those who do not have access to my portfolios on model sites I have decided to start posting again on my blog. I thought I would start with one of my favorite models I have shot over the last few years. He goes by the name T-Strength. He has such a beautiful masculine sensuous aura that it totally disarms you to any and all of his wishes and desires.

It has been a while since I have updated BAGman. I have been shooting a lot of session with private clients and models. Justyn is one of the models I have been working with lately. We did a full portfolio from fashion to portraits to nudes. For each model that I shoot I find something different. Its like discovering a new hue among a box of infinite crayons.

The cat series was one of my favorite. A man and his cat ( also referred to by some as a man and his pussy. Justyn's poses and energy in these images really makes this setting works.

I have always loved the feel of an image where the man is partially exposed. It gives the image a candid almost voyeuristic feel.

The pajama shots were not planned. It just so happen that when Justyn showed up and we were going through his wardrobe the pajamas were there. Once I saw the the colors brought to mind the Le`Rav painting " Gabriel" and so I added this to our session. Justyn really knows how to wear a pair of PJs.

Fernando Natural Sensuality

One day while browsing Model Mayhem I came upon a port for a model with the tag "photofl". There was no really nothing special about the avatar but I noticed that the model was from the Tampa Bay area. I usually take a look at local models to see there work and maybe the possibility that we can work together. The portfolio was was varied but only one picture really caught my eye. The image was a nude shot, but it was his eyes and not his body that caught my attention. His eyes radiated a natural sensual energy.

I contacted Fernando to let him know I admired the image and to inquire about our working together. I never know how a model will react to my offer. Some model are very intimidated by my photography. Some are uneasy about the nudity and others about the sensuality. Fernando agreed to collaborate and the results are what you see here.

We started the session out shooting the jeans, "wife beater", and a black suede jacket. The fit was good, so we moved into the studio set the lights and the magic begin. I direct a photo session the way some one would direct a movie. As I directed Fernando in pose, clothing, and emotional feel he did not miss a beat. At the beginning of the session I told him that in my opinion sensuality comes from the face. With that said his face became a becon of sensuality.

We shot four different sets that day: The denim look, the white shorts, the silk spread, and the couch. For me as a photographer I feed off of the energy of a photo session and can, and will shoot for hours without any concept of time. With Fernando, because of other obligations, we had three hours for this session. The session went so well we immediately decided to collaborate for a second.

The morning of our second session we discussed where Fernando would like to see his modeling career go. He stated that he did enjoy sensual modeling and would love to see what he could accomplish in that career. I think he is perfect for it. We shot three sets that day: Jean jacket and black shorts, A blue DKNY jock, and my favorite apparel the white towel.

For me the second session that I have with model is always better. This time the second session was awesome but the first one was so good I would have to say it was a tie.

I hope that with or without my help that the right people find Fernando and are able to enjoy his work. Part of what I wanted to accomplish with my work was to put together a photo book of different type of male model with one thing in common, a sense of sensuality. Fernando will be in that book.

The Art of Ed

Every once in a while I am contacted by a model that awakens the creativity of my photographic vision. This is the case with Ed Barron the feature model of this posting. I had seen some of Ed's prior work and knew that he was an active figure model for several art schools. Figure models are use to modeling nude but some have a reservation about nude sensual modeling. I knew that Ed had seen my work, so I pleasantly accepted his offer and the results was more than I could ask for.

At the beginning of a photo session , at least for mine, there is usually an adjustment period of getting a feel for the energy of the model and the model getting a feel for my vision. Though my style is masculine sensuality, or male sensuality, I do tailor each of my session to the person in front of the camera. I do this whether its a model or a private client. Doing this gives me a connection to the person and it shows in the results.

Ed and I shot two sessions. We did the series with the red robe and red underwear against a black background ( my favorite) and that led to what I call the red passion series we did with the large red drape. The second session lasted for about 5 hours and none of the time was wasted.

Sensuality and the Bust of Pla

This image was made on the first day of shooting. The bust is by Tampa artist Pla, and the sensuality was a surprise to both of us. When I shoot a session I try to create a sensuous atmosphere. Sometimes it works better than others. This was one of those times.
Completing the Arch

This image was produced during our first session. The difficulty and beauty of the pose speaks for itself, which is why I tried to keep the setting as simple as possible. We shot this position several times during the two days with different backgrounds. This is my favorite because of the feeling of purity that it projects.

The setting in the the images above was to portray a evening alone thinking about the pleasure of being with the someone who was not there. Ed was the first person I shot in that setting. I have shot a couple of more sessions with both models and private client in this setting, but Ed owns it.

But still in the long run what Ed brought out in me was portraying the beauty of the natural male body. The body of a man that works out at the gym 5 times a week is easy to appreciate and should be appreciated. Ed has a natural build that brings with it an innate beauty through form and pose.

As the second day progressed through different color backgrounds and settings the desire to see Ed in natural light took over. The results were the same. Spectacular. The natural light brought out a more sensual nature in ED and I must say I was both impressed and pleased.

I must say that working with Ed was both a growing experience and a wonderful experience. Since our first two sessions I worked with Ed on a duo shoot with Rick Conrad ( see prior posting) and the results were beautiful. I look forward to working with both of them again. Ed is great to work with and if you need a figure model to shoot as a solo or you would like Ed to pose with you at the studio, you will never regret hiring his services.

Daniel has been one of my favorite models to work with. From his first session in baggy shorts and a T shirt to now performing as a second model with some of the studio's private portfolio clients as in the image above , Daniel is an excellent combination of sensuality, beauty, and grace. Click on any image to enlarge and enjoy it.
The image above is from his last photo session at the studio for his portfolios on Model Mayhem and Model Coast. He has so much material that it is difficult for him to decide what to post next. With all the work he has done n his first year he will definitely be featured in my upcoming photo book.
Daniel is a great model for fashion with his long slender frame and beautiful face. I look forward to doing some fashion sessions with him in the future if I can get him to put on clothes. As with a lot of models Daniel was hesitant about nude modeling. I told him that when he was ready he would know. When he finally told me he was ready, I was so shocked that I was not ready.

From the implied nude shots above to the sensuous images below Daniels poses are always beautiful. His long legs and arms, beautiful hands and feet, seem to always be in the right place.

Daniel did the ad for me above for the relaunch of BAGman. The images below are from areas around Tampa. We will be doing more location shoots this year. I think the studio has gotten to comfortable for both model and photographer. Its time for a challenge.

The image above was the beginning of a long stretch of artistic photo sessions that I did with Daniel. The images speak for themselves. Enough said.

I hope that in the future Daniel gets the chance to model for other photographers and artist. In the meantime I hope that he will continue to work with me in my model photography and sessions with my private clients.

A lot of my clients for my intimate photography service are in their 40's and 50's. The joy of working with these men is to see them go from reserved to expressing their true sexual being. A couple of weeks ago I had a visit by model Rick Conrad who was very much in touch with his sexual being.
We started the photo session with rick in gray sweat pants against a red background. We took some images with the sweat pants fully on and then in various stages of coming off. The contrast of the gray sweats off of the red was great, but it was Rick showing various emotions through this set that made it work. Rick it truly masculine sensuality on display.
For the second set we switched to a black background. We took some fully nude shots, some in gray shorts , and some in winter gear.
The image below has Rick in a black fur hat. The hat is hard to make out but everything else is in plain view.
Rick was such a wonderful model to work with because he was willing to trust all the directions I was giving him. I am especially fond of the image of Rick in the ski shades. The image is both erotic and artistic.
I change the lighting. I had Rick sit down, stand up, sit on something different, and through it he performed like the professional he is.
I wanted to also to make sure we had some well lite images on a light color set. The image below was taken on a solid wooden pedestal with an off white background. The simplicity, his facial expression, and impressive erection made for a fantastic shot.

The last set we used was an office setting. Our vision was this could be the man you are doing business with... If you are lucky. Look for future posting of this session as we take a look at each set separately.
In the meantime visit the studio and see what type of images you can create.

Marcello is one of the most wonderful models I have had the pleasure of working with. During a three hour session we did fashion, casual, and intimate photos. I had seen pictures of him before he arrived but I was stunned with how beautiful he was in person.

Marcello has a classic beauty. He has a very warm smile and beautiful skin. He had a shyness about him that shows in his pictures that makes him the more enduring.
We did a set with Marcello in board shorts and a set with him in casual shorts and a green silk sweater. When I suggested that we do some commando shots, I was pleasantly surprised that he agreed. He had trimmed pubic hair that added a nice touch to the photos.
What really caught my eye was the last set we did on the silk couch. He displayed innocence, seductiveness, sensuality. Through it All it was his beauty that shows through.
More than just a joy to work with, Marcello has to be one of the most beautiful models, inside and out, that I have had the pleasure to work with.

I thoroughly enjoy photo sessions with models. I have a set plan and know about how the session will go. Working with a client who has come in for personal photos gives me a different excitement. A model comes in with the feeling that we will be successful and come out with some great photos. A client comes in first with a little nervousness and apprehension about the process and the outcome. Russell and I first communicated online and then by phone to set up his appointment. He owns his own business, Mystical Rubdowns ( mysticalrubdowns.com), so he wanted photos that he could also use on his website. He had told me during our previous conversation that he wanted to do part of the photo session in a kilt. I set up a background of a hand painted 40's era Italian silk spread and a off white silk couch as the set. Russell put on the kilt and we started making art.

After reclining on the couch in several positions Russel's sexual nature starting coming out. It one of the things I love about doing a private photo sessions for clients. When a person feels comfortable enough to reveal themselves as they really want to it magical. You can see it in their body language, and you can see it in their face. They are in the moment and the photos show it. When I am shooting with a model we are trying for a certain look and unless our minds are in sync we sometimes miss the emotion that makes a photo true. Usually when I am shooting with a private client at some point during the session they become the natural sexual being they are and I no longer need to direct. I just need to capture the magic.

Once we were done with this setting, I wondered, because how good it went, if we could keep the creative energy flowing. After we reset the antique silk back drop with a black background I did not need to wonder any longer, the creative energy was as strong as ever.

Once we were done with the kilt we switched to a black background, my favorite, and a pair of white button up Levis. We were able to use the the jeans in a number of ways. When Russel had the jeans all the way buttoned up the look provide a great bulge. Like a woman's breast. you may can't walk around in public with your dick hanging out, but you can make sure the pants you wear highlights that area. He unbuttoned the pants to show a little bush, took the pants off and use them as a drape for a few implied nude shots, and then held them in his hand for some casual nude shots.

After seeing what we could do with the white Levis a we did some artistic nudes with just the black background . The set turned out to be a beautiful blend of masculinity and artistry. We later brought in a Burgundy wing chair and a pair of red mesh underwear. Russell quickly filled up the underwear and was soon poking out of them. This set up provided a totally different look from what we had already shot. I was amazed at how well Russell adapted to each setting.

We finished the photosession with Russel wearing some ripped jeans shorts and a black T-Shirt. I wanted to use natural light so we shot it in the smaller studio room which has windows. All in all it was a fantastic couple of hours with a client that I now feel is a friend.

The Naked Landscaper

When ever I shoot an erotic photo session I do it with more than just wanting to show the models body. For this shoot I was joined br Robert aka " The Naked Landscaper" in portraying the anguish that can be felt when working for a corporation. I myself worked for a corporation for years, putting on my suit and tie every morning and doing my job. This series portrays both the fustrations and the desires of a corporate worker. This is just a portion of the shots taken. I may consider releasing them on a CD in the future for those who want to enjoy this type of art to the fullest in the privacy of their homes. We ended the photo session with Robert on the couch. Its great working with a model that can draw on his inner sensuality while listening to the directions of a photographer that pushes and pushes. George and I did a variety of settings and outfits. and even though we never did any nude photos (not that I would have objected) his photos still have a strong male sensuality to them. George is just hot.

My first up date a few days ago features Daniel. Daniel is a Ransom House Studio Model. His versatility goes from fashion, to editorial, to artistic nudes. He has also agreed to model with some of my private photography client when they needed a second. You will see more of Daniel in future postings so stay tuned.

Today I am happy to post some pictures of one of my Tampa clients George. I am always happy when one of my clients allow me to post their photos. I love my models but my clients photos have a touch of realism that I don't get with my models. My clients also proves the point that masculine sensuality comes in a ton of different flavors.

New Beginning

I started this blog as a way to communicate with anyone who had the time and curiosity to drop by. I knew that I wanted to discuss politic, sports, sexuality. Time passed very fast as I had to develop my company website(ransomhousellc.com), Model Mayhem portfolio(Ransom House Studios),Modelcoast portfolio (BAGman Studios), Model Launch portfolio Ransom House Studio9), and manage a couple of my models online portfolio, that I let BAGman suffer. Well that is no more. Over the last year I have let BAGman languish while my attention was elsewhere.

Part of my studio's business is to shoot personal portfolio"s for any man that would like to see what his sensual nature looks like in the hands of a professional photogapher. The combination of these men, some who gave me premission to post their pictures, and the models that I have shot portfolios for give me a nice variety of pictures to display. Unfortunately most of my private clients do not give me the permission to display their pictures. Its unfortunate because most of them have taken some great pictures. I do understand and respect their choice to remain private and thank them for letting me have pleasure of servicing them in this endevor. So as of today I will start posting of the variety of men who have graced my studio.

Is the world ready for BAGman

I have been saying for the longest that I was going to start a blog, and I guess now is as good a time as any. When you come to this blog there is no telling what I might write about. My interest are vast. I am a black gay man whose interest range from politics to sports to photography to sex.

Right now my political side is in full throttle. People are constantly asking me who I support. I am registered as an Independent in Florida, an as Independent my constitutional right to participate in the primary has been taken away. Even though the Constitution of the United States did not empower political parties here in Florida you have to register as a member of a party( Is this communist Russia?) or wait until the general election to have your say. This year this disenfranchisement has cause me not to make a difficult choice. Of the three remaining candidates I am torn between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Most people assume that I would be for Barack but I am not that simple. Barack is a black man like myself but I am not sure what his policies would be. Is he a unifier or will he be ruled by the pervasive homophobia in the black community. I believe Hillary will be better for the homosexual community but I question how she will handle the disparity in economic is our society. The third candidate is just so pretty that it makes it hard for me to trust John Edward, the former lawyer for a Hedge Fund.

Sports is also consuming a large portion of my attention this time of the year. College and Pro basketball is just getting interesting. With the beginning of inter league play the ACC is standing on top of the hill with its two big giants, Duke and North Carolina not only looking like number one seeds for the tournament but possibly the final two. But in a league where Georgia Tech made NC play the full game anything can happen. In the pros the west is a power house as usual but the east has a few teams to be reckon with. The Celtics are as good as I thought they would be when they made their preseason trade, the Pistons are still one of the most seasoned veteran laden teams in the league and if the Cavaliers get one more piece this will be the best NBA season in years. And what about the Lakers? Surprise surprise watch out for a team with the best player in the league. Of course the Superbowl is next starring that adorable Tom Brady who is leading the team who cheated for who knows how long against the Manning II and the Gmen. I love football on many levels. The artistry, the physicality, and the men in tights. Its nice to see the guys on the field, mano y mano, some wearing cups and some obviously not. Its awesome. My favorite, Tony Romo ( he of cute dimples and no cup) has ended his season bu paying much more attention to his beard than the game. See you next year Romo.

We will get to my insatiable appetite for sexual life in a future posting. I have been sexual active since the age of 13 ( thanks to the Boys Club) and have never sensed that my desire has dropped one bit now that I am near 50.

Anyway I hope you will enjoy this blog in the future and converse with me, whether you agree with my ramblings or not.
